Written after we hear your goals, kitchen, and routine — not a one-size chart.
Roti, rice, dal, and tiffins stay on the plate. Portions and swaps do the work.
Work days, festivals, and travel are planned for. Strict elimination is not the default.
Coaching with Dt. Alekhya. First consultation is free, in Hyderabad or online.
A short check — if several of these fit, this program is likely relevant.
Are in the months after delivery
Breastfeed, mix-feed, or formula-feed
Want energy and iron-aware meals on little sleep
Need a sane timeline, not a six-week transformation
Have obstetric clearance before tightening calories or exercise
Most people do not fail because they lack willpower. The plan often does not match real life.
Aggressive deficits in the fourth trimester often worsen fatigue and can affect milk supply.
Frequent feeding and enough food are the foundation. Herbs are a clinician discussion, not a default.
A plan that assumes you cook every night will fail. Batch dal, leftovers, and family help matter.
Healing and feeding come before a gym-style cut. Your obstetrician sets activity clearance.
The written plan is customized from five things we actually ask about — not a guess.
Fat loss, hormones, glucose-aware eating, pregnancy, or recovery — we write to the goal you name.
Vegetarian, vegan, Jain, egg, or non-vegetarian. We do not force foods you will not eat.
Family dinners, festivals, and eating out are planned, not ignored.
Office tiffins, shift work, and travel get swaps so the plan can be followed on a Tuesday.
Follow-ups adjust portions when hunger, energy, or reports change.

Four steps from a free assessment to a plan you can follow — then adjustments when life changes.
Share your goals, how you eat, and any reports you have. The first consultation is free.
We review lifestyle, food preferences, and medical context you share with your clinician’s care in mind.
You receive a written Indian meal plan with swaps for home, tiffin, and eating out.
Follow-up calls and WhatsApp support during Monday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–7:00 PM. Not 24/7.
Items on every monthly plan, plus extras that start at Standard.

Indian meals you already recognise. These are examples — your written plan is personal.

Breakfast
Easy calories when mornings are short.

Lunch
A complete plate you can reheat. Leftovers count.

Snack
One-handed snacks for cluster-feed hours.

Dinner
Night-feed hunger is real if you breastfeed. We meet it, then tighten later if appropriate.
These are examples. Your actual plan is personalized to your requirements.
Delivery, blood loss, and night feeds raise the need for protein, iron, fluids, and easy calories. WHO notes that breastfeeding uses extra energy; the exact amount varies. Restricting food aggressively in the first weeks is not the default. ICMR–NIN guidelines still describe a diverse Indian plate — cereals, pulses, vegetables, fruit, and dairy or alternatives.
If you formula-feed, you still need recovery nutrition. If you breastfeed, skip detox teas and unverified galactagogue packets. Fenugreek and similar products are not a substitute for frequent feeding and medical review of supply concerns.
Postpartum thyroiditis, ongoing gestational-diabetes follow-up, and C-section recovery change the plan. Your obstetrician and paediatrician lead; we fit meals around their advice.
Nutrition coaching on this site supports general education and meal planning. It is not medical diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace your physician’s care.
Talk to your doctor or obstetrician before major diet changes if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, take prescription medicines, or have a diagnosed medical condition.

After your obstetrician is happy with healing and, if you breastfeed, supply is reasonably stable. There is no universal week-two start date. We do not run crash deficits in the fourth trimester.
Breastfeeding hunger is real. We meet it with dal, cereal, and snacks, then tighten portions later if that is a shared, medically reasonable goal.
Frequent feeding (or pumping) and enough calories and fluids are the foundation. No food is a proven miracle galactagogue for everyone. Supply problems need a lactation-aware clinician.
Yes. Recovery nutrition still matters. Calorie needs differ from exclusive breastfeeding; we adjust.
