Is This Diet Plan Right for You?

A short check — if several of these fit, this program is likely relevant.

Take thyroid medication and want a clear meal structure

Want to stop random internet “thyroid food lists”

Need practical Indian breakfasts after the tablet window

Prefer home food over supplements as the first step

Are already under a physician or endocrinologist

Why Generic Diet Plans Often Don't Work

Most people do not fail because they lack willpower. The plan often does not match real life.

Banning cabbage and dairy

Usual cooked portions of cabbage or cauliflower are not a reason to empty the sabzi list.

Taking the tablet with breakfast

Food, coffee, calcium, and iron can reduce levothyroxine absorption. Spacing follows your prescriber.

Iodine megadoses

Iodised salt in cooking is the usual Indian source. Kelp or “thyroid boosters” can be harmful.

Crash diets for the scale

Very low calories often worsen fatigue. Consistent meals are the starting point.

Your Diet Should Fit Your Life

The written plan is customized from five things we actually ask about — not a guess.

Your goals

Fat loss, hormones, glucose-aware eating, pregnancy, or recovery — we write to the goal you name.

Your food preferences

Vegetarian, vegan, Jain, egg, or non-vegetarian. We do not force foods you will not eat.

Your lifestyle

Family dinners, festivals, and eating out are planned, not ignored.

Your schedule

Office tiffins, shift work, and travel get swaps so the plan can be followed on a Tuesday.

Your progress

Follow-ups adjust portions when hunger, energy, or reports change.

What Can You Eat?

Indian meals you already recognise. These are examples — your written plan is personal.

Lunch

Roti + dal + mixed sabzi

Including seasonal greens in normal cooked portions.

Fruit and roasted chana snack

Snack

Fruit or unsweetened chaas

A simple snack if energy dips in the afternoon.

Simple Indian dinner bowl

Dinner

Khichdi or roti + dal + salad

A repeatable evening template for busy days.

These are examples. Your actual plan is personalized to your requirements.

Nutrition Considerations for Thyroid Health

The thyroid uses iodine to make hormones that affect metabolism, heart rate, and energy. In India, iodised salt is the usual public-health source of iodine. Extra iodine from seaweed supplements can be harmful. Selenium and iron matter, but more is not better — excess can be unsafe. ICMR–NIN guidelines still call for a varied diet, not a single thyroid superfood.

Levothyroxine is typically taken on an empty stomach, separate from food, calcium, and iron. The American Thyroid Association describes this timing so the tablet absorbs properly. We help you place breakfast after that window; we do not change your dose.

Hypothyroidism is sometimes accompanied by weight gain and constipation; hyperthyroidism by weight loss and a fast heart rate. Both need medical labs. Nutrition can make meals easier to keep; it does not reset TSH on its own.

Frequently Asked Questions

Short answers first. Details match the rest of this page.

Frequently asked questions

Can diet replace my thyroid tablet?

No. If you are prescribed levothyroxine or another thyroid medicine, keep taking it as directed. We only help with meals and timing around that dose.

Should I stop eating cabbage?

Not because of a generic internet list. Usual cooked portions of cabbage or cauliflower are part of a normal Indian diet. Your specialist can advise if you have a rare clinical reason to restrict.

Why must I wait after the tablet to eat?

Food, coffee, calcium, and iron can reduce absorption of levothyroxine. Follow the gap your prescriber gave you. We schedule breakfast after that window.

Will this plan fix hair fall from thyroid disease?

Hair often follows hormone control and iron status. We can improve protein and iron-rich meals; we do not treat alopecia or promise regrowth.

How do I book?

Book a free consult, then choose a monthly plan if you want ongoing coaching. Payment is off-site by UPI or bank transfer.

How does the diet plan work?

After a free consultation we write a thyroid diet plan around how you already eat. You then choose Basic, Standard, or Platinum for follow-ups. This website does not take card checkout. Learn more on the pricing page or book via the contact page.

Can I eat Indian food?

Yes. Plans are built around roti, rice, dal, sabzi, tiffins, and the food your household already cooks — vegetarian, mixed, or Jain when that is how you eat.

Can the plan be customized?

Yes. Goals, food preferences, work hours, travel, and reports you share all shape the written plan. It is not a generic PDF.

How often is the plan updated?

Basic: monthly. Standard: every two weeks. Platinum: weekly. Small WhatsApp tweaks can happen inside your support window during clinic hours.

Do you provide online consultations?

Yes. Sessions are in Miyapur, Hyderabad, or online across India. Hours are Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. See the dietitian in Hyderabad page for local details.

Which plan should I choose?

Basic (₹999) is a monthly plan with one follow-up. Standard (₹1,999) adds bi-weekly updates, a therapeutic diet, and travel diet. Platinum (₹2,999) is weekly updates and unlimited WhatsApp during clinic hours. A free consult can help you pick.

Can I change my plan later?

Yes. Message us to move up a tier at the next billing point, or sooner if we agree an adjustment. There is no automatic upgrade.

Is this a replacement for medical treatment?

No. We do not prescribe or stop thyroid medicine, and we do not promise a normal TSH from food. Seek medical care for neck swelling, swallowing trouble, or chest pain.

No. If you are prescribed levothyroxine or another thyroid medicine, keep taking it as directed. We only help with meals and timing around that dose.
